Providing funded active recreation opportunities for young people
In each location, funding is available for eligible businesses, associations or community groups to provide a 4-week after school active recreation program and/or a 4-day school holiday camp.
This is to provide opportunities for young people aged 7-17 who have been impacted by bushfires, and are keen to get outdoors and try some new activities.
Funding varies according to the activity/s, number of young people, and duration
Pilot programs will occur in Term 1 & 2, 2022
All other programs will occur in Term 3 & 4, 2022
