Mindful Canoeing Nature Experience in Kangaroo Valley
“The repetitive rhythm of paddling and a waterway’s natural ebb and flow are a rich metaphor for the cultivation of mindful awareness.” Enjoy a complete body and soul reset on a gentle, contemplative canoe trip with an emphasis on nature connection. Surrounded by towering sandstone cliffs, the Shoalhaven Gorge offers hidden pristine waterfalls and swimming holes, an abundance and array of wildlife, and is the most scenic flatwater paddling venue in Australia.
Your tour will involve expending a moderate level of energy while paddling, but having ample time for relaxing throughout the journey as we pause and reflect on the wonders around us. Your instructors will coach you in cultivating moment to moment awareness through the grounded activity of paddling with the aim of experiencing a magical moment: a congruence and oneness of body, boat, paddle and water. Unencumbered. Purposeful. Smooth.
No experience is required: you’ll get full support from qualified instructors. Those who are new to mindfulness will get the most out of this session. Especially marvellous in the depths of winter when we finish around sunset. A full day, at a slow pace – renew your spirit and be nourished in nature!
